After a week of migraines and drunken schmoozing, your hosts are back to torture your ears with more nonsensical crap! Join Matt and Robert this week as they delve into Robert’s SDCC 2015 experience, discuss some of the big news and trailers, and bemoan the whole experience that is being an adult! So, sit back and relax, and prepare to get rope-a-doped for another week, because it’s a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
Hey Monkey Lovers! Have you ever just wanted to cast off the responsibilities of life and enjoy pure unadulterated freedom? Sure we all do, but that bothersome thing called “real life” keeps getting in the way… or does it? For us here at To-Ag Studios, we’ve found the secret door that leads to the fountain of eternal freedom, also known as MITC Uncaged! Join us this week as talk about a little bit of this, a touch of that, and a whole crap-load of awesome over there! Reset your DVR, grill up some questionable food, and buy yourself a whole truckload of salt as you get ready for a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage!
This week, we are joined by George Cordero (@TheRealmCast), editor of The RealmCast and member of the Frank and Sons Collectible Show crew, to discuss our personal picks for best and worst superhero movies. George brings his wit and extensive movie knowledge to the table as we hash over the good, the bad, and the super ugly that is the world of superhero movies. So, fire up the Bat Computer, strap on your matching cape and underroos, and tell Alfred to hold all your calls as we plow headlong into this week’s topic like The Blob at a buffet. Enjoy!
The New Year is finally upon us. 2011 brought some good times for us here at Monkey in the Cage, namely the birth of our wicked cool podcast (that’s for any fans we may have in Boston). But, as awesome as 2011 was, 2012 is going to be a thousand times better. This year is going to be a geeks dream year come true – everything from video games and movies to conventions and podcasts. Like everyone else, we look forward to the new year and what it brings, but at the same time, we can’t help but take a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
This week, as everyone is looking forward, we’re looking back. Join us as we talk about the a crap load of things from our childhood and adolescence that we both love an miss. Be it cereals, tv shows, cartoons, or professional wrestling, nothing is off-limits as we babble on and on and commit the cardinal sin of dating ourselves and feeling old. Let your ears take a listen and your mind reminisce on the things that helped make us the geeks we are!
