Lockout (2012) – Movie Review

lockout

Ok, I know that I missed the boat a little on this movie.  Well, more than a bit (it came out almost a year ago in the States) but it didn’t get a cinema release in Australia that I’m aware of, and I only watched it for the first time on Monday, but dammit, I wanted to write a review for it anyway!

In Conflict Bound: Part 3 – Sibling Rivalry and Absolute Mayhem

Loki and Thor Sibling Rivalry

So last week I detailed what constituted a game-plan as how the Norse God A.I. super-android spaceships were going to break their bonds, gain a little vengeance, and make their bid for freedom from the Terran Empire.  IXB-Thor and IXA-Loki have set off into the space station in android bodies, IXA-Skaal is having an identity crisis, and IXI-Hella is actually the only one trying to go about things in a reasonable manner, so, on to the action!

Special thanks to JiB for providing me his GMing notes for reference, for being a great GM, and for having some sweet art skills, as you will see.

“You don’t watch Doctor Who?”

If you are a geek who hasn’t followed the adventures of Britain’s favorite time traveling alien, getting into the Who universe can seem a bit daunting. After all, the series originally ran for twenty-six years from 1983 until 1989. It was then revived in 2005 and continues today. There are, presently, eleven Doctors and countless companions to choose from. So, where to start? Today, I am going to help you start with the new Doctor Who by offering some unconventional advice.
