Another Friday is here, so that means it’s another day to reevaluate your life choices, particularly when it comes to your taste in podcasts. Have no fear, though, for Matt and Robert are here to talk about all manner of questionable internet content, poor drink choices, and of course, video games! So, ease your way into the weekend with a nice, relaxing earful of bullsh*t and idiocy, because it’s a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
What is this? A podcast on Thursday?? That’s right, loyal listeners (you three know who you are), your Thursday’s are belong to us!! Robert and Matt have moved to a new day on the MITC feed so that they can keep the podcast goodness flowing. Join them this week as their conversation shadowruns through the realms of gaming and movies, with predictable results. It may not be good, it might not make sense, and it sure doesn’t have a point, but it’s still cheaper than anything Billy Mays (may he rest in peace) ever sold – it’s time for some Useless Drivel!
If you’re a gamer and a geek, then undoubtedly you’ve amassed a grand collection of wondrous treasures, from boxes and books to cartridges and discs. While some of these items may be considered mundane or even relics of geek ages long past, we all know that it goes against our very nature to part with such great gifts of enjoyment, even if we’ve never taken the shrink wrap off yet! Join us this week as we delve into our geek closets and discuss games of all types – purchased, played, and otherwise. Clear off the table, charge up those controllers, and for God’s sake read some damn instructions as you prepare for a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage!
Whether you’re a fella with a geek lady in your life or a geek girl looking to spoil yourself, look no further! This week I am featuring the talented jewelry maker Jenny Loves Kawaii. Jenny has over 150 items for sale featuring tons of geektastic categories. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, you know.
Super Emo Walter from The Big Lebowski by JSalvador
Oh, hey! It’s me again. I know, I know two posts from Karen while she’s on vacation?! What the heck? Well, I’m doing Ramses a solid and covering for him while he works out some creative blocks. His vacationitis is worse than mine.
There’s no doubt that Matt & Robert are both “super emo” without us so here’s some amazing art by JSalvador to get you all over the hump. See more heartbreaking adorableness after “the jump.” Continue reading →
One of my fondest memories of Legend of Zelda was trying to run out of the Item Shoppe without paying for whatever loot I could carry. My younger self never considered what that could mean for the poor Shoppe Owner.
