Hey Monkey Lovers! Monkey in the Cage has grown and evolved, shifted and changed, and finally morphed into an even greater entity – Monkey in the Cage Productions! While the MITC Podcast will still feature all four of our lovable hosts every few weeks, the episodes in between will be filled by Matt and Robert chatting about damn near everything in questionable states of sobriety. What kind of shenanigans will these two adversarial friends get up to in the coming weeks, only time will tell, but it is there mission to bring you, the listener, something that qualifies remotely as entertainment every Tuesday. They don;t know where they’re going, but it’s no use being late! So, without further adieu, welcome to Useless Drivel: A Podcast Without a Point!

Join us this week as we gather around the mics and discuss what “got our geek” the most in the past year. Prioritize your superheroes, stock up on convention passes, and be sure to try out a bit of the meatloaf as you settle in for a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage!
2013 is only about a week old, so I feel it’s still young enough in the year to reflect on my personal top five gaming moments of the year past. 2012 was surely filled with plenty of gaming – from board games and video games to RPGs and podcasts – so I thought I should give a nod to those out there that made last year one of (if not THE) best years in gaming I’ve had. The following are in no particular order.
Here it is boys and girls, the illustrious Third Act of the Skyrim Six’s violently idiotic rampage across all of Northern Tamriel. If you have no clue what I’m talking about, go back and read Part I and Part II before venturing forward into the epic conclusion of our Gateway 2012 quest for vengeance, lost parents, and a little sumthin-sumthin’ from those ever elusive girl dragons. So, without further adieu, the finale of Kimi’s Skyrim: Vikings vs. Dragons!
Two weeks ago, I brought you the first installment of what may have been the most epic one-shot convention game, ever. This week, I continue the tale of the “Skyrim Six,” the name I’ve given to the dysfunctional band of dragon brothers I and my fellow gamers brought to life, undoubtedly to both the chagrin and entertainment of our extremely patient GM, Kimi (aka @LadyAdeena). If you haven’t already, go check out Part I, then prepare for the next level of epic dragon shenanigans after the jump!
