Es Viernes, people, so that means it’s time to get down and busy with your bad self for some awesome pre-weekend entertainment, and then you can listen to our podcast afterwards! Join your hosts Robert, Matt, and The David as they get SUPER local talking about all the places you’ll never eat amazing(?) Mexican food, watching anime, and The Fate of the Furious. While there is no guarantee your ears will be entertained, your stomach will most likely be hungry after this week’s fine piece of juicy podcasting. Settle in for a new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
It’s the end of a new week, so of course we’re going to start your weekend off wrong with a brand new episode! This week, Robert and Matt bring you a whole host of sexual tension, smoldering eyes, and awesomely irrelevant news and nostalgia. Hold onto your butts, because it’s about to get as pumping as a Nickelback concert up in here! Always random, rarely entertaining, it’s a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
I’m continuing onward with my analyses of the classic fantasy gaming races and this week we’re taking a look at Half-Elves. Now, if you’ve been keeping track of the stories (and you should be), you might anticipate this to be another railing against anything that has to do with Elves or Elvenkind. Fear not, readers! While I plan to be critical in my typical fashion, this week’s article isn’t necessarily anti-Half-Elf, but it’s probably going to come pretty damn close.
Okay. Maybe hate is a strong word, but the fact of the matter is that I REALLYDISLIKE Elves, likely to the point of hate. First off, it’s a matter of principal for me, seeing as I absolutely love Dwarves, however, let’s delve deeper in to the seething fury I hold against the fairest of the heroic folk. Sure, I may have played an elf character once, but I may have been drunk, or blackmailed, or in need of heavy doses of medication… but that’s beside the point. The following are my (Dwarf-minded) opinions and mine alone, and if you take offense or have a problem with, I’ll be happy to introduce you to my axe…
This week, we are joined by George Cordero (@TheRealmCast), editor of The RealmCast and member of the Frank and Sons Collectible Show crew, to discuss our personal picks for best and worst superhero movies. George brings his wit and extensive movie knowledge to the table as we hash over the good, the bad, and the super ugly that is the world of superhero movies. So, fire up the Bat Computer, strap on your matching cape and underroos, and tell Alfred to hold all your calls as we plow headlong into this week’s topic like The Blob at a buffet. Enjoy!
