Just when you thought we might actually have gone away, we’re back this week with another podcast. Matt got his sh*t together enough this week to actually record, so that means a whole new episode of your favorite hosts, Matt and Robert, spewing falsities and stupidity into your willing ears. Join us this week as we discuss all manner of the unimportant and awe-inspiring. From outdated party activities and stupid continuity to more ridiculous video gaming and the greatest showman on earth, it’s a whole new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point.
So, the big question this week is: How is it even possible to take a podcast that has no structure or direction and take it completely off the rails? By adding friends to the mix, that’s how! Join your hosts Matt and Robert this week as they’re joined by Tim and The David for an expletive riddled episode that, frankly, is damn near impossible to keep track of, but is one hell of a good time! From tattoos and goth clubs to Australians and baby mugs, it’s a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – The Podcast Without a Point.
So, way, way, WAY back in Episode 8, we here at To-Ag Studios talked Heroes and Villains. So now, 68 weeks later, we have reconvened our Monkey council in order to once again discuss the hero figure and why we love them. Draw down your cowls, make some therapy appointments, and get your butt out of retirement as were headed for round 2 to discuss Heroes (NOT the show) on a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage!
What would happen if Dr. Who (my favorite is #11) ended up in the Star Wars universe? What if the Tardis landed on Tatooine? Most of you know that my geekdom is embedded in Star Wars, but I also love Dr. Who. With the recent Dr. Who Christmas Special, I keep thinking of what the good Doctor might run into if he was in the Star Wars universe. Continue reading →
While we still wait for Disney to come up with a decent princess, oh wait.. now they have one: Princess Leia. Princess Leia is not your run of a mill princess, and neither is she your average political figure. Princess Leia, out of all the female influences in my childhood, had to be the one I looked up to the most. She is strong, confident, and beautiful.
It seems that Día de los Muertos has steadily been growing in popularity over the last few years and with good reason. The holiday is both merry and macabre, a celebration of the dead by the living. It’s a beautiful sentiment marked by beautiful art.
The huge “Disney buys LucasFilms” news this week inspired me to search out the raddest Día de los Muertos: Star Wars Edition I could find. My search stopped the moment I laid eyes on John Karpinsky‘s work. Click through to see his amazing art. Continue reading →
