Well, lookie what we gave here! Just when you though our crappy little podcasthad finally kicked the bucket, BAM! We’re back with a new episode. Sure, almost an entire month is a helluva gap, but we had serious adulting to do! So, join your hosts Robert, Matt, and The David as they make their triumphant return to the internet airwaves! Hold onto your virtual butts, because it’s gonna get sexy up in here! It’s a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
Another year, another convention. While we did our darndest to enjoy as much of WonderCon 2015 as possible, even a smaller big convention is hard to tackle in three days, let alone one. Join your hosts Matt and Robert as they poorly recount their experiences at this years WonderCon, while simultaneously underselling their show, destroying friendships, and over sorts of tom-foolery. Always sub-par, partially entertaining, and usually groan inducing, it’s time for Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point.
Just when you thought we were gone, we’re back at it! Two weeks of not recording due to important life issues wasn’t enough to convince Robert and Matt to throw in the towel, so they saddled up to the mics and hit record for your listening pleasure. You’ll be pleased to know that the two week lay off did absolutely nothing in the way of improving the quality of the show, but hey, if you wanted quality… let’s just say you know what you’re getting. Strap in and relax as the Awesome Mix that is Useless Drivel washes over you like the irradiating power of an infinity stone!
First off, our apologies. No, really. Not the regular “apologies” we give you every week for producing our amazingly good/bad podcast, but for real and for true, sorry. Things were going great (depending which side of the fence you sit on) and then Matt had to go and bring it down. What a dick! Anyways, now that’s out of the way, it’s on with the show! From low-brow theology and anointed body parts to Wondercon and continuity issues, this show has enough to rub everyone the right and wrong way, simultaneously! Please note, we don’t fact check for shit, but that’s kind of the heart and soul of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
This past weekend, our very own Paul “Thunder From Down Under” the Intern hopped on his kangaroo, braved an incursion of deadly drop bears, and g’day mate’d his way through the wild Australian Outback to celebrate pop culture, Aussie style! The southern hemispheres answer to SDCC, the Supanova Pop Culture Expo looks like it has every thing a geek could want, so we’ll let Paul share with you what he saw!

I am going to drop some truth on you, dear readers. I am tired. I wear a lot of hats. All of them are important to me and all of them require more time and energy than I normally have. However, the most important hat of them all is that of “Mommy.” As a full-time working mother, I often fear that I am not there enough time for my 20-month old son. So, how do I make the most of my time with my toddler? Well, that’s where being a geek comes into play.
