This week I am coming back at’cha with my Versus series where our favorite super people tackle mundane tasks. Cap decides to spend a nice, sunny day mowing the lawn that is until he runs out of gas…
Super Emo Walter from The Big Lebowski by JSalvador
Oh, hey! It’s me again. I know, I know two posts from Karen while she’s on vacation?! What the heck? Well, I’m doing Ramses a solid and covering for him while he works out some creative blocks. His vacationitis is worse than mine.

Another Comic-Con has come and gone, and the Monkey in the Cage crew is WORN OUT! Even with back-up and thorough planning, tackling the awesomeness that descends on San Diego every year proved to be more challenging and rewarding than ever, and we weren’t even on the floor (legitimately)! Join us this week as we are once again joined by our favorite intern, Jared the Intern, and artist/illustrator extraordinaire Dennis Salvatier to recap all of our experiences outside of the convention center. Gas up the Batmobiles, throw back a couple of beers, and don’t let those zombies get you as we talk SDCC 2012 on a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage!

So, The Avengers has come out and it’s amazing, brilliant, a tour de force and vindication for Joss Whedon, blah blah blah. We’ve heard all that, yeah? I’d like to talk today about one aspect of the film that has been up for debate on the internet and weigh in with my opinion.
