Sit back, relax, and prepare to be mildly entertained as you tune into a brand new episode of Useless Drivel – A Podcast Without a Point!
This week saw the loss of one of the worlds greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams. As horrible as the circumstances are around his passing, it is a situation that provides all of us in any form of entertainment large and small the opportunity to reflect on ourselves and the people we care about. For all the manic comedy and apparent optimism Robin Williams put out into the world to entertain and inspire, he could never really shake the demons deep inside that haunted him until the end. Look to the ones you love, those you call family and friends, and remember to be there for them and that they are there for you.
While the world is a far darker and sadder place without the wit and humor of Mr. Williams, let us all take a moment to remember a great entertainer and celebrate the life he lived.
Robin, this episode is for you.
What is this? A podcast on Thursday?? That’s right, loyal listeners (you three know who you are), your Thursday’s are belong to us!! Robert and Matt have moved to a new day on the MITC feed so that they can keep the podcast goodness flowing. Join them this week as their conversation shadowruns through the realms of gaming and movies, with predictable results. It may not be good, it might not make sense, and it sure doesn’t have a point, but it’s still cheaper than anything Billy Mays (may he rest in peace) ever sold – it’s time for some Useless Drivel!
Which decade was the best decade? That’s right, it was the 80’s…. NOT! Sure, the 80’s may have been aiight, but back in the day, we were all that and a bag of chips. Don’t believe us? Well guess what, homeslice, you’re hella wrong! Join us this week as we take a trip down nostalgia road and talk about all the things that were totally dope when the MITC crew first started hangin’ and things were off the heasy! So quit your trippin’, listen up to what the dillio is, and get ready to talk to the hand, scrubs, as we give mad props to our favorite decade on a brand new episode of Monkey in the Cage! Peace out!
