Adventures in Rm. 415: The Classroom as a Game

Many consider video games to be the bane of the current generation. Most of the educators I have worked with, believe these games are responsible for promoting inactivity while exposing impressionable children to age inappropriate material. While it may be true that some children play too many video games instead of playing outside, or that a lot of children play games with content that is not age appropriate, video games and the principals of game design can also be useful tools to motivate children in the classroom.
