As You Wish Princess Bride Inspired 8×12 print by The Gorgonist, $12
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of The Princess Bride. I am ashamed to admit that I saw this movie for the first time just last year. I know, I know… People are always shocked that it took me 24 years to see a movie that everyone of my generation adore. I’m not sure how it happened because I absolutely love this movie! This week I decided to share some Princess Bride-inspired Etsy finds with you.

“Since the invention of the kiss, there have been five kisses rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind.”
I love this movie. I still remember trying to make you and Ramses watch it years ago, but you were too busy getting everything setup for the wedding reception.
I absolutely love this movie, especially the ROUSes. Seeing as it’s 25 years old makes me feel super old, but also makes me wonder why our generation thought Fred Savage was so cool… Had to have been The Wonder Years and that ugly Winnie Cooper.
Ah! Thank you so much for featuring my “As you wish” necklace!

Anyway, I’m certainly not trying to take over the comments section! I just wanted to pop in and send thanks! Happy 25th anniversary to one of the best movies of the last (and current) generation!
Thanks again and I hope everyone has a lovely, Princess Bride-filled week!

Great finds as always Karen! you are the best shopper ever! I actually don’t remember too much from this movie besides Andre the giant and some dude in a black mask that I think eventually was on Castle or CSI. I think I loose geek points!
Thanks, Kyrsten! I will spread the word on Twitter too. Your jewelry is fantastic. And this is why I love Etsy, I have always had wonderful experiences with the talented artists who sell there!
Man I love this movie! One of the greatest movies of my childhood.
Don’t feel too bad about only seeing it a year ago Karen, my girlfriend still hasn’t seen it! I know, I know, she had a very deprived childhood. She just saw Jaws for the first time a few weeks ago and only because I made her watch it.
Robert The Skaggs:So killing zombies in @JazzIsBlues game didn't turn out so well. Shot a 8 year old girl by accident. :( hysterical sobbing ensued. #Gamex 4 hours ago

My wife and I used “Storybook Love” as our wedding song.
